After Year 6, children from St. Mary’s transfer to a number of different secondary schools within the tri-borough area (i.e. Westminster, Kensington & Chelsea, and Hammersmith & Fulham) and beyond. Some children transfer to the independent sector.

At the beginning of their time in Year 6, we hold a meeting for the parents of these children to explain how the process works and what choice of school they will have.

Parents of pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 are encouraged to visit secondary schools so that they can make suitable applications on the basis of what they have seen and heard.
