Seven Seeds Concert at the Royal Albert Hall

Yesterday, we took part in a concert called ‘Seven Seeds’ at the Royal Albert Hall. It was organised by the Tri-borough Music Hub. Children from our Year 4 and 5 sang with around a thousand other children, professional adult singers and an orchestra in the premiere performance of this new piece about the Greek Myth of Persephone. We were part of the ‘Overworld’ chorus.

It was an amazing night - a unique experience and a wonderful piece of Music to contribute to. A film of the event has been made, and we will post that when it is available. For now, here are some pictures of the day:

School Council at Parliament

Yesterday, our School Council visited the House of Commons to learn how decisions are made in Parliament. They asked some really insightful questions and learnt a huge amount about democracy in action. Hopefully this will help us all to be an even more democratic school!
