Here is the newsletter for Friday 18th: 18th March

A number of parents have been asking when we will be having an Ofsted inspection, as it has been more than 2 years since our last inspection in February 2014. We are still waiting for the inspectors to call! We will get half a day’s notice, and inform all the parents as soon as we know.

In the meantime, we are all very focused on ensuring the best possible provision for all the children, and developing St Mary’s even further. Since our Teaching and Learning Review in January, the level of presentation has shown a marked improvement in many of the children’s books, which is fantastic. We are working on creative projects for the summer term, and setting new targets for the pupils to help them achieve the highest possible outcomes at the end of the year. After Easter, we will be holding a parents’ meeting to discuss how assessments have changed this year and what this means for your child.
